- >Coconut oil rubbed into the scalp and hair, left for several hours, then washed out with a mild soap, such as castile soap, will get rid of dandruff within a couple of days. I spent much of my childhood growing up in Asian countries and this is a much used and effective treatment for dandruff and other fungal infections.
- JS: That is because coconut oil contains caprylic acid, which kills fungi.
__DEPRESSION, D: **PSYCHIATRIC DRUGS
_{Remedies mentioned below are Lecithin, Tyrosine, Bupleurum, TMG=TriMethylGlycine} — _Q: You often say there are many causes of depression. If phosphatidylserine alleviates someone's depression, does it indicate a cause? Or can PS work for many causes?
_A: The primary role of PS in depression is its ability to raise dopamine levels. Low dopamine is one cause of depression. For example people who abuse porn will eventually fall in to a very deep depression. The reason is porn stimulates the release of dopamine in the nerve synapse, which is what causes the "high". Normally when dopamine is released in to the synapses reuptake pumps will reabsorb and recycle the dopamine. Porn though blocks these reuptake pumps though so the dopamine does not get reabsorbed and recycled. Instead the dopamine gets broken down by oxidation and eliminated from the body. Since the body is so slow to generate dopamine frequent use of the drug leads to the dopamine being depleted faster than the body can generate it and the person ends up in a deep depression from the inadequate dopamine levels.
_PS also helps reduce stress through the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal. Stress can also contribute to depression.
_If combined with phosphatidylcholine (PC), this helps even more by helping to maintain acetylcholine levels and through increased methylation. PC is another of the several phospholipids found in lecithin. This is a great example of the synergy I have mentioned so many times. The whole becomes more effective than the individual isolate due to the synergy. In this case the depression may not need the acetylcholine because acetylcholine levels are not abnormally low, but the PC will still provide additional choline for the methylation needed for the PS to increase dopamine levels.
_Q: Also, you said that lecithin can aggravate hormonal issues in some women. What does lecithin do that could cause that?
_A: It is not known why. Several studies have shown no direct effect on hormone levels. Evening primrose oil, black current seed oil and borage seed oil are also known to have this same issue.
_The amino acid tyrosine is the precursor for dopamine production. Remember to take it on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before meals.
_The herb bupleurum will also raise dopamine levels and cleanse the liver at the same time. Unfortunately it is not one of those easy herbs to find.
_And don't forget TMG as a methyl donor to help promote neurotransmitter production.
__DETOX, METAL TOXICITY
_You can use sea salt for water softeners to save money. A 50 pound bag is around $4 and it will still detox you if the water is made salty enough. Add enough salt to saturate the water. And drink plenty of water during the bath to stay hydrated.
_Seaweeds, pectins from fruits and vegetables, silica, and chlorella are all good for metal removal. Amla berry can help protect the DNA from metal damage when detoxing _ metals.
__DHT PROBLEMS

_Muscle mass has a lot to do with testosterone levels. There is an herb called tribulus terrestris that elevates testosterone. But it should be taken with a dihydrotestosterone (DHT) blocker like saw palmetto.
__DIABETES, TYPE I
_I just read that you believe type 1 can be cured!! I have had type 1 for nearly 40 years now, but I too believe it can be cured. I believe it because I have a liver defect, and there have been times over the recent years that when my liver was working at its best, that my blood sugars dropped so dramatically that I have had to stop taking any bolus insulin and reduce my basal to something like 6 units total a day. This, while battling candida.
_Jiaogulan tea as a bitter to cleanse the liver. The sterols in jiaogulan also support the adrenals and help control Candida.
_Juniper berries are also a bitter, antifungal, adrenal and pancreatic support and they lower blood sugar reducing insulin needs.

__DIABETES, TYPE II
_Type 2 diabetes results from a chromium deficiency leading to a closing of the insulin receptors ... Chromium supplementation can actually correct type 2 diabetes since it opens the insulin receptors. [ https://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1707018#i/ ] As long as proper chromium levels can be maintained the insulin receptors should remain open.... [Also] Nettle is good [for diabetes].
_I recommend 200 mcg [chromium polynicotinate] 3 times daily with meals.
_Chamomile has been shown to help with lowering blood sugar levels in diabetics. But this is probably due to the anti-inflammatory effects of the chamomile increasing insulin sensitivity, and not due to its effects on serotonin levels.
_Juniper berry is very strengthening to the pancreas and also lowers blood sugar.
_Kudzu is a treatment for diabetes.... Kudzu helps to improve insulin resistance, has a mild blood sugar lowering effect, helps with retinopathy and being a vasodilator can help prevent insulin damage. _Foods such as green leafy vegetables are good source of magnesium, which helps to prevent insulin damage. _Juvenile diabetes [is caused by] Coxsackie virus, rubella, Cytomegalovirus [and] linked to vaccines utilizing live viruses including DPT, MMR, rotavirus, and hepatitis vaccines.
_There were 2 dozen deaths from Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, Nuprin, etc.) induced hepatitis during clinical trials. And I know 4 people that had their kidneys shut down after taking a single recommended dose of ibuprofen. The people most at risk are those with circulatory disorders such as those with Raynaud's, congestive heart failure, diabetes, etc.

Vanadium (vanadyl sulfate) is great for blood sugar regulation. It carries glucose in to cells. The biggest advantage though is that it can do this while bypassing the insulin receptors, so it is not inhibited like insulin from closed insulin receptors. And it can help open closed insulin receptors in the process. And unlike insulin that causes vasoconstriction, which causes all the real serious adverse effects of diabetes, vanadium does not cause the severe vasoconstriction. A dose of 35 mcg is fine. And it should be taken 3 times daily with meals.

__D: DIABETES, DIET ISSUES - I don't believe in any strict diet. The biggest drawback to strict vegetarian diets is the risk of B12 deficiency anemia if the person does not supplement with B12. Symptoms do not show up for years since the liver stores a 2-6 year supply of B12. Raw food diets run in to the same problem if a B12 source is not added. And many raw vegetables are very goitrogenic. Again, each strict diet has its drawbacks.
_I disagree with any strict diet, which includes low carb, high protein. Especially in diabetics. Diabetics are already at high risk for kidney damage from insulin. High protein diets put more load on the kidneys and increase the risk of kidney damage due to uric acid crystals that can shred the kidneys if not completely hydrolyzed.
_Foods such as green leafy vegetables are good source of magnesium, which helps to prevent insulin damage.

_The same also applies to psyllium, which can damage the intestines and cause bloating.
_Probiotics and prebiotics would be a good idea. For probiotics I prefer kefir or other liver culture foods like sauerkraut or miso. For prebiotics soft fibers are best, especially if you do have diverticulitis or some other intestinal inflammation. My first choices are rice bran or oat bran since they are also very nutritional. _Gums such as konjac, guar and xanthan gums are also great for stimulating growth of the intestinal flora. Fruits and vegetables would also be good for fiber, but avoid things with tiny seeds such as strawberries, which can aggravate diverticulitis.
_Carbohydrates do not need to be avoided, they are not evil. But simple and refined carbohydrates should be limited.

__D: DMSO
Here's what James said on April 29, 2020 in his private Facebook group, Science Based Natural Healing.
_Nancy K-G: "DMSO is short for a substance called Dimethyl Sulfoxide. This is a natural by-product of the lumber industry and comes from the bark of trees."
_DMSO is neither natural nor does it come from the bark of trees.
_DMSO is a synthetic solvent formed as a byproduct of the bleaching of wood pulp.
_When heated it adds an oxygen atom forming synthetic DMSO2, also known as methylsulfonylmethane (MSM).
_This is used in the supplement industry and is a good sulfur source providing 34% sulfur.
_If mixed with oxidizers such as [chlorine dioxide], oxygen, or ozone, it can produce the highly poisonous gas DMSO4.
_For an example of this, research DMSO and Ramierez.
_In this case not only did the patient die but the toxic gas nearly killed several hospital emergency room workers when they drew her blood.
_People need to be EXTREMELY careful when using DMSO for the above reasons and because DMSO can carry various substances right in to the bloodstream including soap scum on the skin.
_Therefore, the skin needs to be cleaned with soap and water first then cleaned again with alcohol before applying DMSO.
_People also need to be extremely careful about what they mix DMSO with before application.
_DMSO can carry various plant compounds through the skin that SHOULD NEVER be in the bloodstream.
_For example plant saponins as these will hemolyze (destroy) red blood cells if they enter the bloodstream.
_This can lead to anemia as well as excess uric acid levels increasing the risk of tissue damage including the kidneys as well as kidney stones.
_Bottom line is if people are going to use DMSO they need to do some serious research on it first and not just do it because someone who does not understand it or its chemistry recommends it on the internet.
__DRY MOUTH
Dry mouth can be from medications, potassium deficiencies, dehydration, certain foods or some disorders such as Sjogren's syndrome [dry mouth & dry eyes].
__**EAR: OTITIS (MIDDLE EAR INFECTION) See Biofilm Infections
youtube.com/watch?v=IbTdgTWTgDE&t=300s - Common Biofilm Infections include middle ear infection, endocarditis infection of cardiac valve, atherosclerosis, periodontal disease, salivary stones, typhoid fever, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic wound infection, bacterial vaginosis, mastitis, chronic rhinosinusitis, chronic sore throat, pertussis, cystic fibrosis, chronic bacterial prostatitis, urinary tract infection. The protocol requires 3 steps. 1. Dissolve & kill the biofilm. 2. Interrupt its communications. 3. Kill the dormant persister cells. Following are the details.
1. Dissolve & kill with an oxidizer (ozone or H2O2 IV), a solvent (DMSO or essential oil), or an enzyme (serrapeptase)
2. Interrupt with bitters (berberine or gentian).
3. Kill with ozone or H2O2 IV or essential oil (oregano or thyme or pinene or clove) every few days for a few months.
_Source: VitaCost.com etc.
__EAR INFECTION
_Antibiotics only work for bacteria. And since they kill off the beneficial bacteria that control fungi, the antibiotics can make fungal infections worse.
_I am not a fan of putting liquids containing water in the ear though since any water remaining in the ear can breed bacteria and fungus.
_A few options would be to add a pau d' arco tincture to a small amount of olive oil to drive off the water and alcohol then use warm the oil and use as ear drops to kill the fungus and to soften up any ear wax. After about 20 minutes I would use a bulb syringe to gently suck out the oil.
_Or make an extract with pure alcohol, no water, to use as ear drops.
__EAR INFECTION POLYP
_To shrink it, get access to an ozone unit to blow ozone into the ear.
Pau d' arco will still help keep the inflammation down.
_If there is mold, it is very difficult to eradicate. If it is in an area where the flora normally inhabit then the flora can be replaced to help produce acids that will help to destroy the mold. Ozone is also effective in destroying it.
__ECZEMA
- https://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1451046#i
_Eczema is partially a problem with liver toxicity, and partly allergic response. Stress increases the problem due to weakening of the adrenal glands.
_The best way to cleanse the liver is with digestive bitters. These are bitter tasting herbs that when they come in to contact with the tongue they stimulate the bitter receptors. This in turn stimulates the vagus nerve, which causes the liver to flush. You only need to taste the bitters to work, so I recommend 1/2 dropper full on the tongue several times a week. Drink a lot of water throughout the day when using bitters.
_As for the allergy component, allergies result from poor adrenal function. A lack of antihistamine and anti-leukotriene epinephrine, and lack of immune modulating and anti-inflammatory corticosteroids lead to allergic responses. To build up the adrenals you need vitamin C and pantothenic acid, the two most important nutrients for the adrenals. Natural vitamin C sources are the best such as watercress, kiwis and berries. Adaptogenic herbs also help to strengthen the adrenals. Some of my favorites include schisandra berry, licorice root, ashwagandha, jiaogulan, astragalus, Siberian ginseng and suma.
_Remember to stay away from stimulants like caffeine.
__EDEMA, SWELLING
Causes of Edema
Gravity: sitting or standing in one place too long (dependent edema);
Pregnancy;
Diseases: heart, lung, liver, kidney, or thyroid disease;
Immune system issues: allergic reaction, infection, burns, trauma, or clots.
Medication side effects from blood pressure meds, pain management meds, etc;
Nutritional imbalance, such as excessive sodium, insufficient potassium etc;
Weak valves in leg veins (venous insufficiency);
_Q: My ankles and feet are swollen all of the time, less sometimes than other times. What could be causing this?
_A: There are a number of possibilities. Vein valve damage, kidney or heart issues, pinched nerves, congestive heart failure, sodium retention, inactivity, {low?} potassium.
_Q: I am having edema on and off for the last couple of weeks. My mouth and eyes are often dry, yet I drink a lot of spring and DE water. I use sea salt but not much. And when I have table salt (like on tortilla chips), it is more noticeable.
_A: Sounds like a low potassium problem. Have you tried increasing your intake of potassium rich foods such as kiwis, papaya, oranges, parsley, watermelon, ripe bananas, etc? Potassium is a natural diuretic by displacing the sodium that can cause fluid retention.
_Edema related to circulation (vascular), heart, or liver problems: Most of the time, the edema is not a serious illness, but it may be a sign for one. Here are some examples.
_Venous insufficiency can cause edema in the feet and ankles, because the veins are having trouble transporting enough blood all the way to the feet and back to the heart. This means that it gathers in the legs, and fluid is forced out of the blood vessels into the surrounding tissue. Edema can also be caused by varicose veins.
_Congestive heart failure can cause both peripheral edema and abdominal edema (ascites). This is because the heart is too weak to pump blood around the body properly, so the blood gathers in front of the heart. Because of this, and due to the increased blood pressure in the veins, fluid seeps out into the surrounding tissue. This may cause swelling in the legs or a build-up of fluid in the abdomen. If the person spends a lot of time lying down, the edema might show up on his or her back (called sacral edema). Congestive heart failure can also cause edema in the lungs (pulmonary edema). This is not common, but the condition is life-threatening. It means the lungs are filling with fluid because the left side of the heart is not strong enough to pump the blood returning from the lungs. The blood gathers in the blood vessels of the lung, and fluid seeps out into the lung tissue. The signs are shortness of breath and rapid, shallow breathing or coughing.
_Kidney disease could cause edema in the legs and around the eyes, because when the kidneys do not remove enough sodium and water from the body, the pressure in the blood vessels starts building up, which can lead to edema.
_Low protein levels in the blood: If there is a lack of the protein albumin in the blood, fluid can leak out of blood vessels more easily. Low protein in the blood can be caused by extreme malnutrition, as well as kidney and liver diseases which mean that the body loses too much or produces too little protein._Liver diseases: Scarring of liver tissue (liver cirrhosis) due to, for instance, long-term alcohol abuse or a liver inflammation, can cause edema in the abdomen (called ascites). This is because cirrhosis causes a lack of proteins and congestion in the liver, which can lead to increased pressure in the blood vessels. As a result, fluid seeps out into the abdomen.
_Severe lung conditions like emphysema can also cause edema in the legs and feet if the pressure in the lungs and heart gets very high.
__EDEMA, CIRCULATION
- https://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1654905#i
_The edema is a symptom saying something is wrong. It could be something relatively benign like valve damage, or it can be something more serious like kidney issues. Looking for the cause would be a good idea just to make sure that something serious is not going on.
_There are a number of possibilities. Vein valve damage, kidney or heart issues, pinched nerves, congestive heart failure, sodium retention, inactivity.
_The only thing that people really need to watch out for when taking ginkgo is pharmaceutical blood thinners.

__**EHLERS-DANLOS SYNDROME
(EDS) is a group of rare inherited conditions that weaken connective tissues, primarily skin, joints and blood vessel walls
_A Midwest doctor says Manganese supplementation (Standard process Mn-B12 or manganese aspartate taken every other day) is very good for EDS. It can also be injected in prolotherapy (just using D50). It takes about 2-6 months to really notice much improvement.

__ENERGY, LOW
(*B means half hour before meals)
_Sloane shows a good variety of healthy energy boosters:
Bee pollen *B (may be allergenic), Carnitine *B, Licorice root, or a good quality Panax Ginseng, B Vitamins (such as in Rice Bran), Schisandra, Nettle leaf, Rhodiola, Eleuthero, Amla *B, Passion flower, Lycium, Jiaogulan.
_So avoiding coffee in the first place would be a great start. This way the adrenals would have a better chance to naturally maintain energy levels. If a little extra boost is needed then they could use something like bee pollen, licorice root or a good quality Panax ginseng.
_Pollen and carnitine are both good choices for energy. Pollen is high in B vitamins for energy and is the richest herbal source of pantothenic acid for adrenal support. Start out slow with it though to make sure you are not allergic. And if you ever change pollen sources start out slow again since you can be allergic to one pollen and not another. Carnitine helps move fatty acids into the mitochondria to be used as a fuel, which increases cellular energy production. Both are best taken on an empty stomach [with some water].
_Caffeine stimulates the release of epinephrine (adrenaline), which gives us that stimulant effect. But the body only produces small amounts of epinephrine at a time, and is only supposed to be released in small amounts on occasion. When we are constantly stimulating epinephrine release with stimulants our epinephrine stores get used up and our energy levels crash. When they take the coffee they stimulate the release of the tiny amount of epinephrine remaining leaving insufficient levels of epinephrine to give them energy, so they go to sleep.
_This is a bad thing as the adrenals regulate so many things in the body.
_Then there are also other factors that affect energy levels. Thyroid function is one. And women tend to be a lot more prone to hypothyroidism than men. So this could be a factor. Liver function is a factor. Diet is a factor. Red blood cell levels and function are a factor. How we utilize our fats will play a role. Again people who do radical exercise will have systems that will spare glycogen and burn fat more efficiently, which is the best fuel source for the body. They also utilize oxygen more efficiently.
Schisandra is not a central nervous system stimulant, but it can increase energy due to its supportive effect on the adrenals. It blends really well with the Chinese licorice root.
__EPILEPSY, SEIZURES
https://www.facebook.com/groups/560297341529556/posts/1095947304631221
_I recommend the amino acid glycine, 1,000 mg 3 times daily at least 30 minutes before meals. ... By increasing GABA the glycine can control seizure activity without the adverse effects of the Gabapentin.
_Myelin is a fatty insulation on nerves that helps the nerves from short circuiting [and prevent] seizures. ... It has since been proven that myelin can regenerate, although it takes a considerable amount of time. The best way to rebuild myelin is with lecithin, fatty acids and vitamins B6, B12 and folate or trimethylglycine (TMG).
_Myelin is composed mainly of lecithin. Lecithin is best taken as granules. Recommended dose is one tablespoon 3 times daily with meals. You can sprinkle the granules on food or blend in a smoothie. It has a slightly nutty flavor. Fatty acid are another primary component of myelin ... derived from fish oils and nut oils. For fish oil stick to molecular distilled fish body oil. This removes any rancidity or pollutants from the oil. Seed oils include hemp, flax, etc. are vegetarian sources for fatty acids. B6, B12 and folate are used for the production of ... methylation ... required for about 4,000 reactions in the body including myelin formation. For B12 I recommend getting a sublingual tablet of methylcobalamin. By using sublingual tablets it bypasses possible absorption problems. Methylcobalamin is recommended over cyanocobalamin since methylcobalamin is active B12 while cyanocobalamin is inactive B12. Long term, high dose supplementation is not necessary as B12 is stored in the liver. Therefore, all that is required is to build back up B12 stores in the liver, which does not require long term daily supplementation.
_Another option is the methyl donor trimethylglycine (TMG), which is 3 times more effective than SAMe. Recommended dose of TMG is 1,000 mg 3 times daily.
__FACIAL SPIDER VEINS
The spider veins (nevus) on the face is from high estrogen levels. This can indicate liver problems as a normally functioning liver breaks down excess estrogen.
__FAINT FEELING
_Felt faint all day after taking small amount of licorice root for hypoglycemia. First of all licorice root is commonly used to treat hypoglycemia due to its cortisol like structure and effects on cortisol. And the reaction is lasting too long to make hypoglycemia likely. And the amount you took was so low that even rebound hypoglycemia from the increase of blood sugar would be unlikely. One thing you did not mention is how long it was between chewing on the root and the reaction. If it was pretty much immediate then I would say it is not hypoglycemia.
_One other possibility is an allergic reaction. Sulfites are frequently used on cut licorice root to maintain color. And sulfites are common allergens. This can occur with very small amounts and often occurs almost immediately. This can cause the same symptoms including drops in blood pressure and the effects are longer lasting than with hypoglycemic reactions.
_Taking nettle leaf with the licorice would be a better choice due to the chromium and protein for blood sugar stabilization and its antihistamine effect to help counter allergic responses.
_To counter any potential issues with licorice root I recommend a half to one teaspoon of nettle leaf with the licorice root to help maintain blood sugar and as an antihistamine. In fact, taking it about 20 minutes before the licorice root would be even better to give the nettle a chance to start taking effect before taking the licorice root in case the reaction to the licorice is quick. A half teaspoon 3 times a day is good.
_Sometimes the vagus nerve is being stimulated from the intestines, which can drop the blood pressure. The vagus nerve is a pathway from the brain to the intestines and vice versa.
_A simple way to overwhelm bad bacteria is with large amounts of good bacteria. For example a simple way to address food poisoning is to down as much kefir or liquid Acidophilus as you can at once. The beneficial bacteria overwhelm the bad bacteria. You should be able to do the same thing in this case. Although this is a time where you do not want to increase your stomach acid since many of the bacteria are acid sensitive. This is why the best time to really down probiotics is first thing in the morning as soon as you get up since this is when the stomach acid is generally at its lowest level. Taking a little water with the probiotics will also help dilute any forming stomach acid. I like the peach kefir, but I leave it sit in my fridge for at least 2 to 3 weeks to allow more of the sugars to get used up before I drink it.
__D: FASTING
When people go on starvation diets, which is along the same lines as fasting, the metabolism slows down, the body goes in to a stress mode and in the long run the body generates more body fat in preparation for future starvation periods. In other words it drastically alters the body's chemistry, and not for the better.
_The body does not store certain nutrients such as vitamin C. And autolysis means the body is breaking down its own tissues, which again creates a higher toxic load in the body. For example cancer cells destroy cells in the body, which also releases whatever is in the cells. Same for hemolytic anemia. So does this make these diseases beneficial because they lyse healthy cells? Of course not. Cellular lysis is important in the body, such as for bone remodeling, but general cell lysis is not a good thing.

_I cover some of the causes of fatty liver here: http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1508330#i
_As far as treating it, bitters and lecithin granules would be excellent (1 tablespoon Lecithin with meals). For liver support there is turmeric (a dash with meals) and Milk Thistle seed (half a teaspoon 4 times daily at least 20 minutes before meals). Do this for at least 2 months, then cut back to once or twice a day with both (Lecithin & Thistle) for maintenance. PS, dandelion flowers are considerably higher in lecithin than soy.

Regarding "I read earlier that you recommended periwinkle for dementia. What are your recommendations for psychotic type thought disorder, basically fear."
First I recommend working on the adrenal glands with vitamin C and pantothenic acid sources as well as adaptogenic herbs. This will help prevent the over secretion of norepinephrine, which is the neurotransmitter involved in fear. My other recommendation is a neurotransmitter inhibitor such as GABA, taurine or glycine. Glycine is the smallest of the molecules and the most readily absorbed. If using GABA the recommended dose is 750mg 3 times daily or for the taurine or glycine 1,000mg 3 times daily. All of these should be taken on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before meals.
__FLU

_The best herb for colds/flu is andrographis. I also like amla berry, which is a lot better than camu camu. Camu camu is rather unstable. Though it does not sound like you are in shape to go to the health food store.
_So as an alternative for right now you can bundle up in some blankets to raise your body temperature and sweat like crazy. Keep a lot of water on hand and drink it frequently so you do not get dehydrated. Sounds strange but it actually works very well.
_Sipping on ginger tea throughout the day can also help reduce the nausea and muscle aches.
_The silica and vitamin C will help with the COPD.
_To get your white blood cell counts up I recommend suma, which also helps your cells to utilize oxygen properly and helps with hormone balance.
_Also avoid any nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, like ibuprofen, since these can damage the bone marrow inhibiting white blood cell production.
_I won't say anything about the caffeine. You have suffered enough and I think you learned your lesson.
__D: FORMULATING MISTAKE: TANNINS
The most common formulating mistake I see is to add high tannin sources to a formula. Tannins lock up various active compounds, such as alkaloids and glycosides in other herbs, rendering those compounds useless to the body. In short high tannin sources in herbal formulations reduce their effectiveness.
__FUNGUS
Make a strong tea out of Black-Walnut hull; pour it in to a bath and soak in it for a while. Black-Walnut is very rich in iodine, which will kill the fungus. It also contains mitosis inhibitors, which will help {prevent} any survivors from replicating. You may need to do this daily for a few days. {Presumably, you could apply a tea-soaked cloth, cotton, or sponge to the area for a while each day for a few days, if a bathtub isn't available or convenient. Maybe, this would work on nail fungus too.}
