Hi Folks. I grew up on a farm north of St. Charles, MO but in IL. We were almost food self-sufficient. It was hard work, feeding the livestock every day, putting up hay, gardening, spraying the orchard, fixing fences, moving the cows to or from the pasture, milking the cow, cutting and hauling wood for the furnace, etc. We had way too much dessert. I think I got hypothyroid somehow, kuz I was always sensitive to cold. I read about natural hygiene when I was in my late twenties. I became a vegetarian first, and then a vegan. I got a natural hygiene degree in nutrition in 1983. That's when I switched to mostly raw foods, which was mostly bananas blended with water, with some nuts seeds and celery mostly. I was frugal. My health suffered a little after 20 years, so I started reading a bunch of alternative doctors. I added sea salt, eggs, salmon, spirulina and sometimes poultry to my diet. I didn't use supplements much. I tried some herbs. I found James Sloane's old Curezone forum, called Truth in Medicine, in 2016 and I started following his suggestions, especially magnesium malate to prevent muscle cramps. Also, diatomaceous earth added to water for silica. You let the D.E. set a few hours or more so the silica can dissolve a little into the water. You pour off some to drink, but most stays on the bottom of the jar. Just pour more water in on top of that and let it set for the next drink. Silica is good for osteoporosis, skin and a lot of things. Vitamin C and B5 are needed to keep the adrenals going, to handle stress. Natural is best, so I got amla berry powder for C and rice bran, oat bran, or flax seed for B vitamins, including B5. Lately, I got nutritional yeast for B5 too. I started supplementing with zinc too. Lately, I've experimented with several other supplements. I've been getting reverse osmosis water from Walmart's water machines for a few years. Before that I used to get distilled water. Those waters should have minerals added, like D.E. I recently got stinging nettle leaf that I blended into a powder. Sloane said it's about the best herb of all. I started using chia seeds for extra omega 3. Before that I was using flax seed for that. I've been eating oats for ten years or so. I didn't realize the glyphosate is so bad on them. I quit buying them now. I was also eating lentils for about a year, till I found out that they're also bad with glyphosate. I found cheap organic garbonzo beans via Vitacost and organic rye flour. I'm looking for a cheap source of organic oats, but I'm not optimistic about finding some.
I stopped going to medical doctors in 1976. I went to chiropractors occasionally. I went to an acupuncturist once or twice. I had a small swelling on my chin which drained quickly that way. I'm more confident in acupuncture now. I didn't have good experience with Quantum Touch.
I read science article titles every week, so I keep up with a lot of new findings. I never believed in the pandemic. I could tell the media were lying from the start. I was glad to find Substack last year. I'll be glad when the major conspirators are out of a job. We'll be ready then for heaven on Earth, IMO. Right?
