Gallstone Natural Home Remedy - DR JOE BROWN

If it’s a severe situation and you have gallstones that are stuck in the gallbladder area, blocking a duct specifically, it can be a very drastic and severe situation. Surgery is, 9 times out of 10, going to be recommended.
From a natural standpoint, here are things that I have used many times with different patients, and those patients never had to go through a lot of surgery.
What you’re going to want to do is get extra virgin olive oil. Buy a whole bottle of it. Then go to your local grocery store and get a big plastic bag full of lemons. It’s as simple as this: Take a glass about this size, and fill the whole glass about half or three-quarters full with olive oil. Again, make sure it’s extra virgin olive oil. Then, cut a lemon in half and squeeze that whole lemon into the half a glass worth of olive oil.
Depending on how big the gallstones are and where they’re at—whether they’re blocking ducts, things like this—you may or may not need to do more or less.
Let’s say you don’t have gallstones in the ducts, but you know you have them because maybe you had an ultrasound and it showed gallstones. What I’d recommend is about five tablespoons to half a glass of olive oil, with half a fresh lemon squeezed in. Drink that twice a day, morning and night.
After two, three, or four days, you might get loose stools. Don’t worry about it—it’ll go away as soon as you stop the olive oil and lemon.
Now, for those with pretty good-sized gallstones, possibly close to some ducts, you’ll want to do a good half to three-quarters of a glass of olive oil. Squeeze half, if not a whole lemon, into that glass. Drink that about three to five times a day. Do this for about two to three weeks, then go back for an ultrasound to make sure the gallstones are reducing.
Here’s the caveat: if you’re having drastic, sharp pain, or if you just came out of the hospital and the doctor says surgery is necessary, make sure those gallstones aren’t blocking one of the ducts. Otherwise, it can become a severe situation.
This is something you want to do sooner rather than later. Don’t wait until the very end to try this.
One final note: remember the “4 Fs.” If you’re female, 40 or 50 years old, and have flatulence, you’re more likely to have gallstones. Female, flatulence, 40 or 50 years old—you’re more prone than men or younger individuals. If you fit the 4F category and are having any kind of pains over the gallbladder, get an ultrasound.
Preventatively, four to five tablespoons of olive oil and half a lemon may help. If you already have gallstones, increase the amounts and frequency to three to five times a day. Loose stools or diarrhea may occur, but keep going until you get another ultrasound. Gallstones will most likely reduce in size.
Again, I’m Dr. Joe Brown. I just wanted to answer that question. It’s a very simple, cheap fix. Thanks again for all the support.

What Causes Gallstones & How to Treat Them – Dr.Berg
In this video, I want to share with you the real cause of gallstones.
A lot of times, when you go to the doctor with gallstones, they’ll just remove the gallbladder without explaining what caused them in the first place, right? Well, gallstones are really cholesterol stones. They’re not caused by consuming too much cholesterol. Instead, they’re caused by a lack of bile to break down the cholesterol stones.
What is bile? Bile is made by the liver and stored in the gallbladder. The gallbladder is simply a sac that helps you dissolve fats in your diet. Let me demonstrate:
Here we have a container of fat—essentially oil, like you just ate some fatty foods. And here’s detergent, representing bile. When the detergent mixes with the oil (don’t try this at home), it dissolves the oil into small particles through emulsification. This is what bile does. It dissolves the fat.
Then, the pancreas, located under your left ribcage, releases lipase—an enzyme that further breaks down fat into smaller particles so they can be absorbed by the intestines and liver. So, the gallbladder breaks down fats, and bile is essential for this process.
However, low bile isn’t the root cause—it’s a symptom of something else. It can result from excess estrogen (for example, during pregnancy, from taking birth control pills, or hormone replacement therapy). Excessive cortisol (stress) and excessive insulin can also deplete bile reserves, which is why diabetics often get gallstones. A low-fat diet can contribute as well because saturated fats trigger bile release. Without enough saturated fats, your body won’t produce as much bile, potentially leading to gallstones. Constipation might also play a role because it can either be caused by low bile (since bile lubricates the colon) or cause bile-related problems by backing up the system.
So, what are the solutions? First, increase bile production. Identify and address the underlying cause—too much sugar, stress, or estrogen—and correct your diet. You can also dissolve gallstones by taking concentrated bile salts. For instance, the product I recommend, called Gallbladder Formula, contains purified bile salts, stone root (an herb that dissolves stones), enzymes, and acidifiers to support bile production.
In summary, understanding the cause of your gallstones can help prevent future issues. Even if your gallbladder is removed, the underlying problem could lead to liver stones. So, addressing the root cause is crucial for long-term health.
