__MACULAR DEGENERATION
- https://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1817775#i
_The focus needs to be on strengthening the blood vessels and other tissues in the back of the eyes. Silica and natural vitamin C sources are especially important for this. Natural vitamin C sources also help to supply the bioflavonoids quercetin, which breaks down in to rutin, and rutin itself. Rutin helps to strengthen the micro blood vessels in the back of the eye. Dark berries, such as blueberries are especially high in vitamin C and bioflavonoids.
_Vitamin C sources will also help with the glaucoma. Coleus forskohlii also helps with dropping the pressure inside the eye, especially when used as eye drops.
_Being that she has had heart surgery though make sure she is not on blood thinners, especially Coumadin (Warfarin). Coumadin can contribute to macular degeneration and interacts with many foods and supplements.
_Also make sure she is not on any drugs like Lanoxin if she is going to take the coleus forskohlii internally.

__MENOPAUSE
_Little breast and no libido ... indicate[] ... hormones are out of whack. Estrogen is low and possibly high progesterone. Lack of estrogen shrinks the breasts. Low estrogen and/or high progesterone kills the libido. [After] menopause ... primary source of sex hormones are the adrenal glands. So ... focus on them. [Eat vitamin C and vitamin B5 foods.]
__METHYLATION IMBALANCE
- https://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1487842#i
- https://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1815817#i
_Methyl donors, like TMG, play a role in about 4,000 different reactions in the body. These include hormone production, neurotransmitter production, cartilage formation, stomach acid formation, energy, immunity ... reducing heart disease and homocysteine, DNA repair....
__MIGRAINE
Migraines start when the blood vessels around the brain constrict tightly, then rebound vasodilate, leading to inflammation.
- There can be multiple triggers including dietary amines [protein], allergies, hormones, bright lights, etc. So anyone suffering from migraines should keep a migraine log to look for the [cause]. Anytime a migraine occurs list whatever was eaten, or drunk, what you were exposed to (fumes, pollen, etc.), ... bright lights, etc.
- The best supplements for migraines are >magnesium, >kudzu, and >coleus forskohlii. Magnesium deficiencies are common and can lead to a host of problems, including frequent migraines. Calcium causes blood vessels to contract, leading to the initial constriction. Magnesium is a calcium antagonist, and relaxes blood vessels to help prevent the initial vasoconstriction. For this reason the magnesium should be taken by itself, not with any calcium. This includes with foods that may contain calcium. Recommended dose is >300mg of magnesium malate twice daily, morning and afternoon, at least 30 minutes before ingesting any calcium sources. If you take a calcium/magnesium supplement this is best taken at night before bed. If you cannot find magnesium malate then >magnesium citrate is my second choice. Avoid magnesium oxide since it is poorly absorbed and it burns the intestinal wall leading to inflammation and diarrhea.
- >Kudzu and >coleus forskohlii are both vasodilators to help prevent the initial vasoconstriction. Recommended dose is 2 capsules of either herb 3 times daily before meals, and in addition at the first signs of an impending migraine. Kudzu is preferred if there are hormonal imbalances. Forskohlii though is an excellent anti-inflammatory since it blocks both inflammatory prostaglandins and leukotrienes.
__MOLES, WARTS
- https://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1486926
_Skin tags are linked to a human papilloma virus.
_Chapparal, pau d' arco and andrographis combined will destroy most viruses. Ozone therapy properly applied also works.
_There are around 80 different human papilloma viruses (HPV). Not all are cancer forming._Freckles are small pockets of melanin, the same pigment that causes us to tan. So the sun will make them more pronounced. I have heard that applying lemon juice several times a day is supposed to fade them.
_Moles are viral caused by a human papilloma virus, the same viruses responsible for warts. Antivirals internally such as chaparral, pau d' arco and andrographis can help. Or they can be burned off with 35% hydrogen peroxide. Just scratch them open, apply the peroxide with a cotton swab and bear the pain for about 20 minutes. After a few days it will have scabbed over. The scab can be peeled off and the process repeated if necessary.
_If you want a little less painful then you can use euphorbias. Euphobias all exude a caustic latex when pricked. Apply the latex to the mole and allow it to dry. Again it will scab over in a few days. Peel the scab off and apply more latex. There are numerous euphorbias from garden spurge to poinsettia. You can find a number of them in plant nurseries in the cacti/succulent section as well. Crown of Thorns is the most historically used one for moles, warts and cancers. The processes basically peel off the growths more in layers. It is not like blood root, which just eats away tissue drastically. And in both cases the peroxide and euphorbias are kept localized to the growth.
_I have seen the peroxide leave some deep scars, but only with large malignant tumors as the peroxide followed the tumor down deeper in to the tissues. But never with moles. If you are going to use the 35% peroxide on the face be extra careful so you do not get it in the eyes, ears, nose or mouth.
__MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
_Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune condition leading to demyelination of the nerves. The trigger is viral, but there is also adrenal dysfunction involved leading to an over production of low affinity (nonspecific) antibodies that mistake the myelin for an antigen. The brain is not the only area affected by MS. Lesions also develop on the spinal cord.
__MUSCLE PROBLEMS
_Many of these symptoms can be attributed to a magnesium deficiency and/or elevated calcium. Calcium is a muscle contractor, which includes skeletal muscle and blood vessels. Therefore, elevated calcium can cause muscle cramps/spasms, high blood pressure, tension headaches or migraines, etc. Magnesium is a muscle relaxant, which is why it is used to treat these problems caused by calcium.
- Also keep in mind that calcium and magnesium are antagonistic to each other. I recommend lowering your calcium intake to allow the magnesium to do a better job of relaxing the muscles. Even in healthy individuals it is best to keep calcium and magnesium intake close to a equal ratio. In some cases though, such as when treating high blood pressure or migraines with magnesium the magnesium intake should be at least twice that of calcium in most cases. {Magnesium malate and magnesium citrate are best.}
__MUSCLE TIC/TWITCH, RESTLESS LEG
_I would go with ashwagandha, which is calming due to its effects on brain's GABA receptors and from its supportive effect on the adrenals, which produce our anti-stress hormones. Recommended dose is 2 standard capsules 3 times daily on an empty stomach.
_Sage leaf and tyrosine are also both effective in controlling muscle tics. These can be used as an alternative to the ashwagandha if it is not effective enough.
_Magnesium malate can be used to relax the muscles to reduce the tics. Recommended dose is 300mg 2 to 3 times daily.
**MYOPIA
_A video says focusing on anything close for too long tends to cause myopia. Being indoors makes it harder to focus farther away. 2 hours a day outdoors, esp. in sunshine, helps, while not focusing close very long. So does shining red light into the eyes. Vitamins A, B, C, D3 & E are said to help cure or prevent Myopia. Avoid vitamin A supplements; only small amounts of vitamin A are needed. Good food sources are kale, spinach, mango, guava, beef, chicken, fish, cheese, or eggs.

__NECK ACHE OR PAIN
- https://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1619723#i
_If the muscles are too contracted on the one side of the neck causing the neck to be pulled out of alignment. If this is the case then the muscle needs to be relaxed on the side the neck is out then the neck put back in to alignment by stretching the neck, not by twisting the neck as chiropractors normally do. That should release a lot of the pressure and most of the pain in a few days. Make sure to do the silica and vitamin C to strengthen the connective tissue to help hold it in place.
_X: I feel a huge pain in my neck, back of the head, I feel very dizzy, start to have chest pain (especially left side), and left arm pain, but more like a long string to the index, and pang (sorry if the word is not correct) in the forearm. I feel like someone is suddenly sitting on my shoulders too. It's really like I will faint or have an heart attack.
_JS: From the symptoms, a pinched nerve was the first thing that came to mind as well as a pinching of the arteries in the neck. This could be from a slipped disc or possibly a bone spur. If you feel up both sides of the neck at the same time is it even or does there feel like there are any bilges, curves, sharp points or tender spots? Do you get any of these symptoms when you turn your neck suddenly? Or moving it up and down?
_X: The "central" point of the pain is right under the skull where it is linked to the neck. It spreads all over the skull, back of the head, sides, and front, eyebrows and a pressure sensation behind the eyes. There is also a cervical that hurts just there, near that point, but right side of the neck.
_JS: It sounds like the muscles are too contracted on the one side of the neck causing the neck to be pulled out of alignment. If this is the case then the muscle needs to be relaxed on the side the neck is out then the neck put back in to alignment by stretching the neck, not by twisting the neck as chiropractors normally do. __NEUROPATHY
- https://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1521999
_Benfotiamine (like 250 mg/day) is great for diabetic neuropathy. Lecithin is also great for some forms of neuropathy. This is because the myelin is about 80% lecithin. The recommended dose is 1 tablespoon 3 times daily with meals. Omega-3 Fish Oil and Methyl B-12 5000 mcg are also good.
_Neuropathy caused by compressed nerves requires that the compression be relieved by chiropractic or other means.
__D: NSAIDS
(See also ASPIRIN) (See also MEDS THAT DAMAGE THE LIVER)
_Inflammation is part of the body's trying to heal. Basically what is happening is when we injure ourselves inflammatory hormones called prostaglandins dilate the blood vessels in the area to increase blood flow and thus oxygen and nutrients to the area to promote healing. When the blood vessels are dilated like this for a while though they become permeable so they leak fluids in to the surrounding tissues. This is the swelling [and sometimes pain] that people experience.
_Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs work by inhibiting these prostaglandins thereby constricting the blood vessels. This prevents the leakage of fluid [that causes swelling and pain], but also inhibits the healing process. In addition these drugs are known for causing heart attacks, strokes, chemical induced hepatitis, kidney failure, loss of vision and tinnitus because they can reduce or cut off the blood supply to organs and other tissues. And contrary to popular belief this does not require long term use or excessive doses. There were 2 dozen deaths from ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, Nuprin, etc.) induced hepatitis during clinical trials. And I know 4 people that had their kidneys shut down after taking a single recommended dose of ibuprofen. The people most at risk are those with circulatory disorders such as those with Raynaud's disease or phenomena, congestive heart failure, diabetes, etc.
_A couple of options to help with the pain and swelling without inhibiting healing are either using an arnica cream topically over the injured area, or internally licorice root and yucca root are both strong steroidal anti-inflammatories.
__OSTEOARTHRITIS, INFLAMMATION
- https://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1535752
_I don't like systemic enzymes substituting for the body's own production long term due to the risk of shutting down the body's own production. For chronic inflammation I prefer building up the adrenals since the adrenals produce the body's own anti-inflammatory corticosteroids. I also like licorice root and yucca root since they are both great steroidal anti-inflammatories and also both help build the adrenals.
_One other note on systemic enzymes. They should be taken on an empty stomach for inflammation so they are not being used up on digesting food.
_Boswellia serrata affects a couple of the inflammatory cascades tied to enzymes such as COX and LOX.
_Turmeric and its anti-inflammatory active constituent curcumin also inhibit MMPs and other inflammatory mediators.
_Devil's claw is another herb that works against MMPs and assorted inflammatory mediators. It has been shown to reduce pain and improve mobility in OA patients.
_Some experts recommend various homeopathic remedies for joint pain, soreness and various arthritis symptoms. Specifically, Kamhi advocated Arnica, Rhus toxicodendron (Rhus Tox), Dulcamara, Colocynthis and Bryonia.
__OSTEOARTHRITIS, OSTEOPOROSIS: See also SILICA DEFICIENCY
- Osteoporosis is also a loss of collagen, not a loss of minerals.
- Osteoarthritis is also treated in large part by the restoration of collagen.
- >Silica is the most important supplement for the restoration of collagen and elastin. The second most important nutrient is >vitamin C
- It is best to get vitamin C from natural sources though since natural sources are generally stronger and more stable than the commonly sold synthetic vitamin C (ascorbic acid). An exception is camu camu, which is not very stable.
- Staying away from things that reduce vitamin C will also help. Keep in mind that the adrenals get priority of vitamin C over the entire rest of the body. And in autoimmune conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis the adrenals are already stressed meaning a larger requirement of vitamin C for the adrenals and less being available for other tissues.
- Steroids, often used for both rheumatoid arthritis and COPD will further deplete the adrenals and vitamin C, which is why steroids lead to bone loss.
- There are also various herbs that will stimulate collagen and elastin formation such as >gotu kola, >boneset, >eupatorium, etc. If you want something already put together I do have the Bone and Joint formula that is primarily designed to increase collagen and elastin. So it can be used for other conditions resulting from a loss of these structural proteins.
- Rheumatoid arthritis is a bacterial induced autoimmune disorder. This condition is treated completely different.
- Here is some information on building up the adrenals, which is essential in autoimmunity: http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1527351#i
- >L-tyrosine, being an amino acid, it is best taken on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before meals. Larger amino acids can block the absorption of smaller amino acids sharing the same transport chain. This is why empty stomach is best. And it does take about 2 weeks to build up. Studies with arthritis though have shown that once it kicks in the pain relieving effects can last up to a month.
- ... >The nettle and >astragalus will support the adrenals, which also produce the sex hormones.
D: OTC MEDS
_There's a common misconception that because of drug is over the counter instead of prescription that it's somehow safer. This really isn't the case. These drugs that have been made {as} over the counter were at one time prescription drugs, because of their safety issues. The drugs have not changed. They have been somehow magically turned in{to} some safe type of drug. These drugs are the same exact dangerous drugs that were once prescription. One of the best examples of this is the drug ibuprofen, commonly sold under the name ... Motrin, Nuprin, {or} Advil. During clinical trials of ibuprofen, two dozen people died of chemical-induced hepatitis from the drug. You know the reason this occurs is because {they} ... cut off the blood supply to the organs.
_To really explain this, I need to go back into the chemistry of how the drug works. We have hormones that are called prostaglandins. Now there's different types of prostaglandins in the body {that} have different functions, such as maintaining ... blood pressure, formation of ... stomach acid. But we also have what's known as inflammatory prostaglandins. And these inflammatory prostaglandins play a very, very important role for the body. Let's say if you injure a part of the body as in the wrist; you sprained your wrist. What will happen is inflammatory prostaglandins open up the blood vessels to that area to help bring oxygen and nutrients in to speed the healing process. This is something that we want. The problem is when the blood vessels are expanded for long periods of time, they become permeable and they leak fluids in the surrounding tissue and therefore we start getting the pain {of} inflammation. So these ... nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as ibuprofen, are used to constrict the blood vessels to keep them from leaking. But if somebody has a problem with poor perfusion, or blood flow, to the organs, as say people {with} diabetes, Raynaud syndrome, Renaud's Disease ... if they have ... heart failure ... {or} narrow arteries, anything like this, where {there's} poor circulation and therefore low circulation to organs; the drugs, the NSAID anti-flammatory drugs I was referring to, can cause the blood vessels to contract down even further, cutting off the blood supply to the organs.
_Therefore, some of the different known side effects of these NSAIDs include hepatitis, kidney failure, loss of vision, aseptic meningitis, tinnitus, which is ringing in the ears. Now there's a lot of people have another false assumption that this has to occur with high doses or with long-term use.... This is not the case. I personally have met four people who have had kidney failure from a single ... recommended dose of ibuprofen. So don't be fooled into thinking that you have to overdose or take this for long periods of time. The people at most risk, again, are going to be people with ... heart failure, and diabetics, who are more likely to actually {be} using the drugs. So I just want to warn people to be very, very careful about using NSAIDs.
__OVEREATING, HUNGER
_One of the reasons people tend to overeat is that they consume proteins with their carbohydrates. Carbohydrates by themselves will stimulate a release of brain tryptophan, which then converts in to serotonin suppressing the appetite. But taking protein with the carbohydrates blocks the release of tryptophan and thus prevents proper serotonin production.
_For frequent hunger, you did mention you have adrenal dysfunction so chronic hypoglycemia is likely. A few things that can help are of course building up the adrenals. More fiber in your diet will also slow the absorption of glucose, which can help prevent rebound hypoglycemia. More protein in your diet will also slow gastric emptying. Spirulina and chlorella are the highest herbal sources. Nettle leaf also has a fair amount of protein and it also supports the adrenals and thyroid. If you also want to focus on your hypothalamus then I recommend adding alfalfa herb and maybe more seaweeds to your regime. These will also help with your hormones.
__OVERWEIGHT, D: FASTING
_BITTERS & B VITAMINS. Hormones and thyroid are the most common reasons … for weight gain. Bitters and sources of B vitamins will help the liver to break down excess hormones. And you can do your basal body temperature to see if your thyroid is an issue. It is a lot more accurate than lab tests for determining the status of the thyroid.
_SOY FOODS. It has been seen that Beta-conglycinins is found in soybeans, which helps in limiting the amount of fat accumulation and also reduces inflammation. The findings on soy protein were published in Molecular Nutrition and Food Research by Researcher Elvira de Mejia from the University of Illinois.
_An enzyme in the body known as fatty acid synthase is slowed down by the beta-conglycinins which avoid lipids from accumulating in fat cells. It is believed that this would help to stop obesity.... Soy is rich in protein.
_It has also been seen that people who consume soy protein feel full and do not eat much which helps them to lose weight in future.
_SUPPLEMENTS. For body fat caused by cortisol I recommend adaptogenic herbs, vitamin C and pantothenic acid rich foods to build up the adrenal glands. For herbs I recommend >schisandra berry, >ashwagandha, >amla, and >nettle leaf. For foods I recommend >watercress, >rice bran, and >nutritional yeast. Several of these herbs also promote the burning of body fat and support the thyroid.
_The hypothalamus gland is the key subconscious part of the brain that registers the leptin signal. When the leptin center in the hypothalamus gland is damaged then obesity results, due to a breakdown in central regulation of metabolism by your nervous system. In this study a drug was used to induce damage to the hypothalamus gland resulting in obesity. Pantethine helped offset the problems that were induced, resulting in lower food intake, less weight gain, better insulin and glucose levels, lower triglycerides, lower cholesterol, and improved activation of lipoprotein lipase in white adipose tissue. Pantethine is a potent nutrient to help maintain healthy fat burning and thus better leptin function.

_Q. Do chromium & magnesium really reverse insulin resistance, or just help for folk who have this condition?
_A. They can work to reverse the insulin resistance. In insulin resistance the insulin receptors are not destroyed, they are just closed. It is magnesium and chromium that help keep them open. Here are some old studies I posted previously:
http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1528348#i
http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1535880#i
_Q. For example if someone was a sugar addict 20 years, could they use chromium and magnesium for a few months and all the damage the sugar abuse caused would be reversed?
_A. The damage is a different story than the insulin resistance. And taking this further is not always the glucose causing the damage. Most of the serious damage comes from elevated insulin levels. As to what can and cannot be fixed this depends a lot on what was damaged and to what severity.
_Q. Or do they still need to go on a low sugar diet to truly reverse it, i.e. chromium is just a mask while you have IR its not a cure and doesn’t help reverse anything, it’s the diet that reverses the damage.
_A. Chromium is essential to maintaining insulin receptors, so it is not just masking the problem, it can help to correct it. Although if a person is overweight this can also increase insulin resistance so losing weight can help.
_Q. Also would fasting help with blood sugar probs?
_A. I would not recommend it for several reasons. One, fasting puts stress on the body. Secondly, fasting can lead to rebound weight gain. And finally, fasting can also mean not getting the nutrients required for helping to maintain insulin sensitivity.

__H: OZONE
- https://curezone.com/forums/am.asp?i=1849327 _OZONE GENERATOR Q: In case the new generator I'll buy is not, in fact, cold corona (although plenty of people are using it for insufflation, etc., without issue), are nitrous oxides still a problem if I'm using a concentrator with an oxygen purity between 94-96%? Is it also alright for ear insufflation? Don't want to poison myself or anything.
_A: With that high of a concentration of oxygen there would be such minimal acids formed that it would not really be an issue.
_EAR INSUFFLATION Q: If ozone is done through ear insufflation, what is the best method of administration for brain cancer?
_A: I generally just use a single tube, but some people get the stethoscope tubing so they can do both ears at the same time.
_Q: How far should the tubing go inside the ear?
_A: It does not really need to go inside the ear. I just hold the tube near the opening of the ear allowing the gas to blow in to the ear under low pressure. Since ozone weighs more than air it is best to lay the head sideways if using a single tube so the ozone will sink down in to the ear. From there it will readily cross the membrane in to the brain.
_Q: What is the flow rate, concentration, frequency?
_A: Again a low flow rate such as 1/8-1/10 LPM. Here I would go with a higher concentration 50-60ug/ml and 3-4 times daily for 20 minutes in each ear.
_Q: Will it still hit -- albeit less directly and with less force than thru rectal insufflation -- the rest of the body somewhat?
_A: Yes, the ozone will enter the bloodstream and reach other parts of the body more diluted though.
_Q: Are there any dangers to ear insufflation?
_A: Not if done properly. Just remember that you do not need the tube to go down in to the ear. Keep the pressure low, and keep the ozone away from the face so you are not inhaling large amounts or high concentrations of ozone.
_Q: I assume ozone through ear insufflation will almost always produce very quick clarity of mind.
_A: Yes.
_Q: What other beneficial chemical, etc., effects on the brain does ozone have, besides saturating it with oxygen? My best friend has generalized problems that might benefit from ozone through this method.
_A: Increasing brain function through increased ATP formation and ozone therapy can help reverse the damage from strokes if administered within 3 hours post stroke.
_Ear insufflation also helps with the eyes.
_Q: For general health, do you prefer ear insufflation or ozonated water? Ear insufflation once a day or so seems a lot less work to me, and it's a method I'd like to try.
_A: Both are good, but I prefer the ear insufflation as well for its effects on the brain and eyes.
_RECTAL INSUFFLATION Q: Can children be given ozone through rectal insufflation? I know of many people who asked me this for their own kids once they hear about my mom. If it's possible, what is the recommended concentration? Is it less than the 47 ug/mL upper limit for adults?
_A: Yes, but the younger the child the more careful one would have to be. Not because of concentration but rather children will have smaller colons and you do not {want} to over inflate the colon, and children are not always good at telling you when something is wring such as the pressure is building up too much in the colon. Otherwise the concentration is still the same.
_RADIATION Q: By what mechanism does ozone protect the body from radiation and the negative effects of chemotherapy?
_A: I don’t know if I would really describe it as “protective” in this case. What ozone can do is to help with cellular repair and to activate the immune system to take out mutated cells.
_ADVANCED CANCER Q: In the case of a very advanced cancer (brain, bones, lymphatic system, etc.), is this a good schedule? Weeks 1 + 2: Ozone every 3 days. Weeks 3, 4, 5: Ozone every day. Weeks 6, 7, 8: Ozone 3 times a day.
_A: With an advanced cancer I would speed things up some. It does not take very long to clear cellular debris and uric acid, especially when drinking plenty of water throughout the day. So I would start with once a day for the first 3-4 days then start increasing the number of times per day to three times daily. With the rectal insufflation the first few treatments are going to be very short anyway, and the primary reaction from interferon stimulation and cleansing usually only lasts for the first 3 days. If the person cannot handle that quick of an increase they can always go a little slower. But again with advanced cancers they need to be treated a little more aggressively.
_Q: Is there any time when ozone should not be used for cancer? For example, a woman I knew had cancer that spread all over the body, including large tumors in the brain. Would the rapid destruction of cancerous tissue in a sensitive organ like the brain lead to any problems?
_A: She could still {use} the ozone, but I recommend going a lot slower with the treatments since there will be more cellular debris than with a smaller tumor. And her system will need to clear the dead cellular debris in between treatments. So maybe start out with a treatment every three days then gradually increase the treatments to daily then three times a day. The person also needs to drink plenty of water throughout the day.

_I don't know a lot about electronics, but what I do know is that frequency helps to drive the electricity through the glass and more efficiently. Standard neon transformers run at 60Hz, which does a good job. I tried a 6,000 volt transformer once that was solid state. This unit operated at 28,000Hz. I burnt up three ozone tubes until I finally figured out what was happening. I then took two 3/8 inch steel rods both encased in glass and set them about 4 inches apart. When I flipped the power on I was getting a major bolt of electricity between the rods. With the 60Hz transformers the spacing has to only be around 1/4" apart to allow a corona formation with the double dielectric of a cold corona tube. So a direct current will not pass through the glass dielectrics.
